One Couple’s Story
Cindy’s Story
“I have been a patient of Dr. Kaufman for roughly 15+ years. I was first referred to him by a co-worker when I had a dental emergency. Upon that first visit, I was taken by the sense of genuine concern that was expressed by both Dr. K and his assistant, Kim. I felt as though I had been their patient for many years, not someone who had just come in because of a dental emergency. Dr. K took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure he would need to undertake and then did so with great results.
Since that first appointment, I have trusted Dr. K with not only my dental needs, but that of my daughter and husband. I have also referred a number of co-workers to him for their dental needs.
I travel approximately fifty-five miles one way in Los Angeles freeway traffic for my appointments with Dr. K. With the price of gasoline and the value of one’s time, that should give you a good idea of my trust and measure of confidence in his abilities. Top that off with the fact that rarely have I had to wait for my allotted appointment time upon arrival at his office, I gladly make the commute for my visits to his office.
If you are looking for a quality and caring dentist, as well as an interesting conversationalist, Dr. K. is my recommendation!”
Geoff’s Story
“When I tell friends that I drive an hour, from Palmdale to Burbank, to see my dentist they usually ask questions like: Does he show videos while working on your mouth? Or do you wear head phones and listen to music? Or does he provide some sort of numbing medication to lessen any and all pain? I simply respond no. There are no gimmicks at Dr. Mark Kaufman’s office, merely an excellent dentist.
He does not work out of a large office. In fact there are only two employees, himself and his wife, Kim. Dr. Kaufman is the dentist, while Kim works as the office manager and dental assistant. Both of them treat their patients with dignity and respect. Kim is extremely effective in scheduling appointments and if you have to wait it’s because you arrived much earlier than the appointment time.
Both Dr. Kaufman and Kim are compassionate people who are concerned not only with one’s dental health but with one’s overall well-being. They are both avid readers who share recommendations of recently read books. On the lighter side, should the thought of being the patient in an office with a definite USC ‘flavor’ be a negative then one needs to realize that quality dentistry far outweighs where one attended college.
In conclusion, having been a patient of Dr. Kaufman’s for over ten years I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone who is seeking excellence in a dentist!”
